My father fought in the defense of Bastogne during the Ardennes Offensive (aka Battle of the Bulge) during WW II. His unit from the 10th Armored Division was attached to the 101st Airborne Division, which is depicted in the HBO miniseries, Band of Brothers. I attached his unit commendation in case you're interested. (I actually have other unit commendations and personal snapshots from my father's photo album of General Patton!).

My grandfather was Homer Croteau, married to Gladys Croteau, he lived in Hartford Connecticut for many years then moved to Ossining New York . He passed away when I was a child, I'm not sure what year it was- maybe the late 60s? Gladys lived quite a bit longer and married a man that traveled the country racing greyhounds, then she settled in florida till she passed away.
My dad has a brother Robert who was living in Florida with my grandma till she died, and a sister Ginger who married into the last name Magee and she lives on Harry Street in Conshohoken Pennsylvania.
