The weekend of June 9, 2007 was a great weekend to honour our World War II veterans from all over the State of Minnesota. Two buses left the Perkins restaurant on 40th Ave West in Duluth , (MN, USA) on Saturday morning in route to the state capital in St Paul. On board were WW II veterans and their families from our area on their way to the dedication of the World War II Memorial in front of the capital building. Among those on the buses were some of our veterans from Cloquet.
