VIOLA MARIE LEE

"Viola Marie Lee, 87, of Idaho Hill and Newport, Wash., died on October 18. A private memorial service was held for Mrs. Lee in Newport. Mrs. Lee was born on July 14, 1908 to Marie and Louis Robarge in Hayward.

She graduated from high school at Park Falls in 1926. On June 1, 1936 she married Oscar Lee in Proctor, Minn. Mrs. Lee attended 2 years at Dunwoody Vocational College in Minneapolis and 2 years at Northwest Electric, studying electronics. From 1942 to 1968, she worked as a group inspector leader at Honeywell.

Mrs. Lee enjoyed bowling, bingo and pinochle. She had been a member of the Honeybells since 1943, Newport Falls Auxiliary and Pythian Sisters. She was a past member of Pocahontas. Mrs. Lee is survived by two sisters-in-law, Gena Janisin and Lyla Robarge, both of Rice Lake; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992."
