LAVIGUEUR, Henry Joseph In loving memory of Henry Joseph Lavigueur, 73 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Tuesday evening, July 2nd, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site.
He was born in Kapuskasing and married Elizabeth Dixon in 1955 in Pickering. A longtime Sudbury resident, Henry was a miner at Frood Mine having 37 1/2 years service retiring from INCO in 1988.
In younger days he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and travelling. He will be remembered as a proud and loving husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Dixon Lavigueur of Sudbury.
Loving father of Richard wife Charlene of Brampton, Don predeceased, Linda Lavigueur of Sudbury, Barbra Charette husband Maurice of Trenton, Cindy Lachapelle husband Paul of Skead, Selena Lavigueur husband Paul Moote of Sudbury.
Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Loving son of the late Phileous and Celima both predeceased. Dear brother of Florence Cheeseman husband Kevin of Newfoundland, Elaine Little of Brantford, Edith Harding husband Ted of Mississauga, and the late Phil, Ernest, Alice and Oscar all predeceased.
Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury, Friday, July 5th, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury.
