The weekend of June 9, 2007 was a great weekend to honour our World War II veterans from all over the State of Minnesota. Two buses left the Perkins restaurant on 40th Ave West in Duluth , (MN, USA) on Saturday morning in route to the state capital in St Paul. On board were WW II veterans and their families from our area on their way to the dedication of the World War II Memorial in front of the capital building. Among those on the buses were some of our veterans from Cloquet.

Earl's father Jasper was a performer and he was often off traveling to do his work. In his absence, Earl was looked after by his Aunt Rose. Her last name was Hill, but I've (Diane) found nothing on her husband or who the relatives in this photo are other than the vague indentities listed. I also wonder who the little fellow inside the door is; you can just barely make him out through the glass.
