WHITINSVILLE\emdash Anna T. (Lefrancois) Croteau, 78, formerly of 57 Spring St., died Wed., March 26, 2008 after an illness. Her husband of 51 years, William N. Croteau, died Aug. 18, 1998.
She is survived by 3 sons, Donald W. Croteau of Oxford, David L. Croteau of Uxbridge and Dennis P. Croteau of Douglas; 7 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Elaine Comeau of Wilmington Delaware; and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Joy I. (Trudell) Croteau in 2002. Born in the Linwood section of Northbridge on June 10, 1929, she was the daughter of Frederick and Valerie (Bouffard) Lefrancois and lived most of her life in Whitinsville, Uxbridge and Douglas.
Mrs. Croteau worked for the former Wrentham State Hospital many years. She later was a case worker at Alternatives in Whitinsville over 10 years. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and collecting porcelain dolls. She was a member of St. Denis Church in Douglas and St. Patrick's Church in Whitinsville.
Her funeral will be held Sat., March 29 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, Cross St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sat., March 29 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Donations may be made to the Douglas Ambulance Fund, Box 222, Douglas, MA 01516.

Entered into the presence of the Lord at 11:31 a.m. At the SRH - Laurentian Site after a two week hospital stay. Reunited with her loving husband Floyd McCauley predeceased August 1st, 2004.
Survived by her loving children Nancy, Ruth (Guenther), Kathy (Paul), Lawrence "Larry" and Elizabeth (Ivan). Cherished grandmother of Carole (Louis), Annette, Nelson (Murielle), Corrina (Marc), Christopher, Troy, Paul and Luc and great-grandmother of Nathan, Jason, Nelson T., Stephan, Farrah, Dominic, Christine, Brandon, Sarah and Gina.
Predeceased by her loving parents Frank and May and brothers and sisters Grover, Bertha, Ronald, Lilian, Violet, Rose, Frank, Archie, Richard and May. Missed by her several nieces and nephews and special friends Patricia, Mona, Judy and Shirley.
