Mrs. Anna Anderson (nee:Shover) Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Anderson, 75, of Quincy, Ky., who died Friday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Arnold Molen, 5961 Woodland avenue, Sciotoville will be held at Quincy Methodist church at 2 p.m. Monday.
Rev. C. W. Sultzbach, pastor of Sciotoville Methodist church, will officiate and burial will follow in Quincy cemetery. Short services are to be held at 8 p.m. at the Molen residence.
Mrs. Anderson was born Oct 3, 1864, in Greenup county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shover. She was married to George Hunt April 5, 1887. Mr. Hunt passed away several years later.
May 4, 1894, she was married to James Anderson, a son of William McKinley Anderson, who also preceded Mrs. Anderson in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leona Hunt Underwood, 638 Fifth street, and Mrs. Georgia Hunt Molen, 5961 Woodland avenue, Sciotoville; three grandchildren, Jesse and Florence Underwood of Portsmouth, Ralph Underwood of Quincy; two great grandchildren, Jean and David Underwood of Quincy; a sister Mrs. Emma Fralley of Letitia, and two brothers, Benjamin Shover of Friendship and Joseph Shover of Kankakee, Ill.
She was a member of Quincy Methodist church. (All of the marriages mentioned took place in Greenup Co., KY).

David S. Underwood
David Simpson Underwood died Sunday at 9:15 a.m. at his home in Quincy, KY. He was 45 years of age and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Leona Huff Underwood and three children, Jesse, Lorene and Ralph. One brother, J. O. Underwood, Herman, Minn., also survives.
He was formerly an employe of the Wheeling Steel Corp., Portsmouth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Quincy M. E. church where he was a faithful member. Rev. W. H. Muncie in charge and burial in Quincy cemetery, [unreadable] J. H. Morton and son Fullerton, Ky., in charge.

Catherine E Hyland, 93, of Hutchinson, Minn, and formerly of Chetek Minn, died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson, Minn.
She was born April 1, 1907, in Almena, (Wis). Catherine was a homemaker all her life. While in the Chetek area, she lived about 3-1/2 miles from town, and it was not uncommon for her to walk to town four to five times a week.
She married Ira E Hyland on Sept 1, 1937. Catherine lived in the Chetek area most of her life. After her husband Ira died, she moved to Hutchinson, Minn, in 1982, where she enjoyed her life at Evergreen Senior Citizens Building until 1997 when she became a resident of Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson until her death.
She was a member of Vineyard United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, Minn. Catherine was a very giving person, and her home was always open to anyone who came to it. She enjoyed cooking, and especially her "homemade" bread, and she spent countless hours crocheting and embroidering, which she dearly loved doing. Before Ira's death, they enjoyed dancing. Her family was very important to her and they brought great joy to her heart.
Survivors include her children, Maurice (Jeanne Bernier) Crotteau Jr of Dartmouth, Mass, Delbert (Shirley) Crotteau of Hutchinson, Minn, Maxine Hyland Frasier of Woodstock, Ill, Edwin (Beverly) Hyland, Chippewa Falls, William (Della) Hyland of Madisonville, Ky, Robert "Mike" (Billie) Hyland of Olympia, Wash; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ira (1981); daughter, Velencia Crotteau; grandson, Thomas Hyland; son-in-law, Russell Frasier; and brother, John Kiefer.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 6, at 11:00 am at The Burnham-Ours Funeral Home, Chetek, with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery, Chetek. Friends may call one hour prior to services at The Burnham-Ours Funeral Home, Chetek.
