Research Notes: Husband - Simion Crotteau

The Wisconsin birth records for the twins indicate other children born to Simion & Evelene Crotteau are; Ernest, Rolphe, Noel, Ely, Orellie, Dora, Julia, Elmer in that order. The birth records for the twins indicate children not named but one male, one female was born. The 1900 USA census should clear up the number of children born at that time.

Research Notes: Child - Elmer Charles Crotteau

Elmer Brett Crotteau lived a few houses away from Elmer Charles Crotteau in the 1910 Rudolph, WI, USA Census.

General Notes: Child - Noel Arthur Crotteau

I have one source but no other evidence that Noel Crotteau died in Ontario Canada. Ansonville Ontario is located north of Monteith and Porquois Junction off Hwy 11, west of Timmins, Ontario. It is a small French community.

In August, 1946, the Very Rev. Raymond Demers, OFM, Cap., arrived on Guam and was given charge of Toto and Anigua as chapels attached to the Agana parish. Soon after he began working in the mission, a typhoon hit the island which destroyed the tent structure. Father Raymond obtained permission from the colonel of Fifth Field to use an abandoned thatched roof building at the entrance of the village, which today belongs to Jose Camacho Borja (dec.) and Leonora Castro Borja. The thatched roof building became known as the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.

The decision to build a new church structure began in March, 1947, when Father Raymond Demers, O.F.M., Cap., held parish meetings to discuss this important project. It was a project which Father Julius Sullivan, O.F.M., Cap., took over in August, 1947, when he was assigned pastor of the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament parish.
