Jane Croteau
WATERTOWN - Jane (Isensee) Croteau, 79, of Watertown, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Newton-Wellesley Alzheimer Center, Wellesley, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was the wife of Harold G. "Jerry" Croteau who died March 1, 2000.
Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Robert and Muriel (King) Isensee, she lived most of her life in Waltham before moving to live with her daughter, Betsy and her family more than three years ago.
She was a graduate of Concord High School and Middlesex Community College.
A U.S. Navy veteran, she was a member of the WAVES (Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service) and served during the Korean War.
She leaves her children, Elizabeth J. "Betsy" D'Amico and her husband, Arthur, of Watertown, Susan Rohl and her husband, Dan, of Bradenton, Fla., Harold G. "Bill" Croteau Jr. and his wife, Kristen, of Townsend and Robert A. Croteau and his wife, Paula of Billerica; a brother, John Isensee of Bradenton; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham at the convenience of the family.
There are no visiting hours.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Eastern Massachusetts, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
Arrangements are by The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St., Waltham.

Obituary:
Croteau, Harvey, 91, a life long resident of Barre, passed away on October 30. Born in Barre on June 29, 1909 he was the son of Homer and Valerie (Hamel) Croteau. He attended Barre City Schools and was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1927.
He and his brother Roger owned and operated the Royal Crown Bottling Company, selling Nehi and Royal Crown for fifteen years. He was a past president of the Saint Jean the Baptist Society; past master of Cobble Hill Grange; a past president of the Barre Senior Citizens; also a member of the Montpelier Senior Citizens Over Sixty Band as well as a life member of the Moose and Canadian Club.
He was also a member of St. Monica Church and the Knights of Columbus; the Barre Neighborhood Housing Service; the Barre Taxpayers Group and also did volunteer work for many years for the R.S.V.P. In 1936 he married Ethel LaMoy in St. Sylvester Church, in Graniteville, Vt. Mrs. Croteau died in 1995.
Survivors are one son, Loren Croteau ; one daughter, Linda Godin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Croteau is also survived by one sister Claire Harrington of Barre. He was predeceased by one daughter Carolyn Croteau; three sisters and one brother.

Steven M. Ruscio formerly of Ashburnham; 59 NORTH TROY, VERMONT
Steven Michael Ruscio, 59, of North Troy, Vt., formerly of Ashburnham, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 27, 2009. Steven, son of the late Francesco and Joan (Gaskin) Ruscio, was born April 5, 1950 in Long Branch, N.J.
He was raised in N.J. and attended Merrimack College in Andover, MA, graduating valedictorian of his class. He studied for a year as a Rotary Fellow at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Steven and his beloved wife Helene settled in Ashburnham, MA , where they raised their family for over 20 years before moving to Vermont in 2001. Steven was a master woodwright who delighted in hosting and cooking for family and friends on any occasion.
As busy as he was, the love of his family prevailed over all. Steven will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of nearly 35 years, Helene (Croteau) Ruscio; his children, Lea H. Ruscio, Joseph F. Ruscio and his wife Jory, Aimee C. Ruscio, Christopher A. Ruscio, Kathleen M. Ruscio, and Gregory S. Ruscio; a sister, Maryann T. Ruscio; a brother, Kevin P. Ruscio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. RUSCIO His funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 3, 2009 in Gardner, MA.
