I keep coming across information that claimes Jean Baptiste CROTEAU b: 18 Jun 1731 was the child of Louis Croteau and Angelique Gaudin. I tend to go with the belief the Drouin Series is more correct in naming the parents as Pierre Croteau b: 1687 d:1765 and Marie Chartre b: 1694 d: 1775 instead.
