Nora M. Croteau, 92, of Royal Oak, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at St. Anne's Meade Nursing Home in Southfield. She was born Jan. 7, 1916, in Prescott, MI.
Mrs. Croteau retired from the Wayne Oakland Bank after 27 years of service. She loved to play pinochle, bridge, and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Edna (Charles) Johnson of Troy, Richard (Jackie) Croteau of Ferndale, Robert (Diane) Croteau of Arizona, and Margaret Blair of Brighton; 20 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Croteau was predeceased by her husband, Eugene J. Croteau, whom she married Nov. 23, 1932; and daughter, Eleanor English.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m., and Thursday from 2-9 p.m.; and the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, all at Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home, 23690 Woodward Ave., Pleasant Ridge.
