SALEM, N.H. -- Lorraine V. (Croteau) Miele Franek, 83, a resident of Salem, N.H., formerly of Methuen, died Wednesday, June 20, at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, N.H.
She was the wife of the late Ralph Miele and the late Louis Franek.
She was born in Lawrence, Mass., daughter of the late George and Bertha Croteau. She was educated in Lawrence schools.
Before retiring, she worked for 30 years at the former Western Electric Co., in North Andover, Mass.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, N.H.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Rita Miele of Salem, N.H., and Anthony and Tia Miele of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Don McCarthy of Apollo Beach, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Rosalie Croteau of Salem, N.H.; a sister, Loretta Musemeci of Newburyport, Mass.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
