Clarence Sr. graduated from Manuel Arts High School of Los Angeles, California. I believe he came to Fort Wayne from Ohio in 1923 when Truck Engineering Co., moved from Cleveland. He eventually became President and Owner of the company. Both Junie and John were President. The company is no longer in the Croteau family. When the family first moved here, they lived in New Haven. C.A. Croteau Sr and his family were charter members of St. Jude's Catholic Church.

February 3, 2008 You have my deepest sympathy. I knew Eunice and Tony because I belonged to the Saint Mary's Club in Fort Wayne when we attended the parties they had. She was a student at SMC at the same time as I was in 1944-1946 and we traveled back and forth to South Bend on the ABC bus. We also had her brother "Mr. Croteau" teach our children at St. Vincent's School. Those were good years. My husband and I now live in an apartment in Christus St. Joseph Village in Coppell TX and our daughter takes care of us. We can walk down the hall to daily Mass. I pray we will meet Eunice and Tony again in Heaven. God bless you.

One of the boys, David Burlage, was a long time friend of Jim's and they had a joint funeral on 13 June 1945. Both were buried in the Catholic Cemetery.
