LUCILLE EVELYN CROTEAU It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucille Croteau at the age of 82 on January 12, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Wilfrid) Bremaud and Lynne (Jerry) Kyrylchuk and daughter-in-law Sandra Croteau; grandchildren, Kevin, Jodie, Amber, Shawn and Kelly and their families; great-grandchildren, Casey, Jane, Nina and Kyle; her brother Armand St. Pierre; sisters, Aline (Hank) Dube, Norma (Louis) Oulette, Thelma (Luke) Normand and sister-in-law Jean Mann and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernard and her son David; her parents and sisters, Julie and Yvonne and brothers-in-law, Harry and Billy.
Moms strength and courage was very admirable along with her kindness and thoughtfulness towards everyone around her. In respect of Lucilles wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.

FALL RIVER -- Irene B. (Rioux) Gosselin, formerly Croteau, 78, of Highland Avenue, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at the Catholic Memorial Home. She was the widow of Ovila "Gus" Gosselin and Bertrand "Bert" Croteau.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Talbot) Rioux, she was a lifelong city resident. She was the step-daughter of the late Marie-Louise (Bois) Rioux.
A communicant of Notre Dame Church and a member of its' Ladies of St. Anne Society, she was a floor lady at the Shelburn Shirt Company for 25 years, retiring in 1976. A member of the Milliken Seniors when she resided at Milliken Apartments, she worked in the Foster Grandparent Program at St. Anne Hospital.
A member of the ILGWU Local 178, she was also an avid reader and enjoyed taking day trips.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Diane L.) Andrade of North Dartmouth; three sons, Richard B. and Harvey Croteau, both of Fall River, and Gary Gosselin of Fairhaven; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Evelyn Dion, Imelda, Albert and Armand Rioux. Her funeral is at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 South Main St. Funeral Mass is at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Margaret Mary Chapel of the Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Avenue. Entombment at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
