Margarete Hunt Croteau
LEXINGTON Age 96, died Monday, July 16, 2007 in Evangelical Home, Fort Gratiot.
She was born August 30, 1910 in Sebewaing, daughter of the late William A. and Mary Ellen (Bullock) Hunt. She and Armand Croteau were married November 10, 1975 in Warren. He died June 23, 1988.
Mrs. Croteau was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Surviving are stepchildren, Doris (Jim) Kolawski, Clara Koskodan, Mary Ellen (Forrest) Connelly, and Armand Croteau; several stepgrandchildren; special friends, Joan Filbeck, Al and Debbie Wilson, Shirley Wandrie and Cheryl Baumstark; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Dale Croteau.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Lexington, the Rev. Barry Sheldon, St. Matthew Lutheran pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 to 1 Friday. Memorials are suggested to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
