Research Notes: Wife - Mary Crisafulli

Santo and Mary Crisafulli of Rochester, NY did not have any children of their own. Mary Crisafulli's sister, Lucia Chirico (Maurice Montcalm mother) quickly arranged for the baby to be adopted by Santo Crisafulli in Rochester, NY.

The baby adopted the name Mary Crisafuli or Nicoletti and went on to lead a normal life but was never told of her adoption!! This story could be fact or fiction of one of the older ladies that I spoke to. It could be born from a jealousy at an early childhood.

Research Notes: Wife - Maria Nicoletti

Santo died when I was very young so say 1954-1957 range.

Mary (Maria?) Nicolletti/Crisafulli died after my mother, (who died in 1974), maybe the late 1970's or early 1980's.

They all lived at 139 Rohr Street, Rochester, NY (her nephew Frank & his sister Rose Nicolletti lived on that street too). Santo died there and she moved in 1967/68 to 329 Sandoris Circle, Rochester, until she went into Shire at the Culverton Adult Home in Rochester, NY.

Research Notes: Child - Mary CRISAFULLI

Santo and Mary Crisafulli of Rochester, NY did not have any children of their own. Mary Crisafulli's sister, Lucia Chirico (Maurice Montcalm mother) quickly arranged for the baby to be adopted by Santo Crisafulli in Rochester, NY.

The baby adopted the name Mary Crisafuli or Nicoletti and went on to lead a normal life but was never told of her adoption!! This story could be fact or fiction of one of the older ladies that I spoke to. It could be born from a jealousy at an early childhood.

Research Notes: Husband - Jasper Crotteau

Note: Jasper CROTTEAU married to Emma CROTTEAU was captured in the 1880 USA Wisconsin Census records. The records indicate he was born in Canada.

Research Notes: Wife - Margaret Crittenden

Maggie SCHALL was married to John SCHALL b:1843 who worked in a Stave Mill in Rudolph, Wood Co. Wisconsin. This information was captured in the 1880 USA Census records... page 555C.

Assumption: Since Jasper CROTTEAU lived a number of houses away from Maggie, I suspect that Emma BOYER died and so did John SCHALL. These two came together.

This is sheer presumption on my behalf there is no proof of this theory.

Notes: Marriage

1900 Census shows Jasper married to Margaret for the last 17 years.
