Surname provided by Pearl Gednalski. She has the first name of HUTTER is Caroline instead of Emeline. I'm unable to find a Caroline married to Louis, only a Emeline in all reports up to 1910.
Information from family member still alive that the last name is CARTIER and not HUTTER. She had died after the birth of Francois Crotteau just before the 1930 Census report. Francois was living with his aunt Roseanna Demers when the census was taken.
Information received at the 2008 Crotteau reunion Louis Alfred married a second time to a Caroline (Crottaw) Hutter.
