On March 17, 1851, Myles Cosgrove, blacksmith of Brock, purchases 1 acre between lots 1 and 2, CON 1, Brock Township. Two years later, Michael Malone and wife, Mary (Curtin), sold 2 acres at lot 1, Con 1, Brock to Myles Cosgrove, blacksmith, of Brock.
